Vashti Farrer

Vashti MA (Eng. Lit) has had over 60 adult short stories published, and has won five awards. A recent talk on British Military executions in WWI, she gave to NSW Military Historical Society Inc was published in The Australian Financial Review, June 17, 2005.

She has twice been President of The Society of Women Writers NSW Inc; been Deputy Chair of the NSW Writers' Centre: former President and currently Vice-President of the Military History Society of NSW Inc.

For kids, Vashti writes fantasy, humour, history, non-fiction, verse, plays and is a regular contributor to NSW School Magazine.

Vashti recently completed an historical novel for adults and is currently working on another book for the My Story (diary) series for Scholastic.

Hobbies include reading, theatre, films, concerts.

For Adults

For Kids

VF writes fantasy, humour, history, non-fiction, verse, plays, occasional articles and is a regular contributor to NSW School Magazine. She has been on the CBCA Notables List three times, and short-listed in 2005 for Early Childhood Section, for - Mr Noah and the Cats .
